GLOU BEAUTY SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE INAUGURAL AWS IMPACT ACCELERATOR FOR WOMEN FOUNDERS
With the Support of AWS, Glou Beauty will Accelerate Its Development Pipeline

Glou Beauty today announced it has been selected to participate in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Impact Accelerator for Women Founders, a technical, business, and mentorship program for women startup founders, to help accelerate Glou Beauty’s cloud-based business. This opportunity will support Glou Beauty’s efforts to offer a sustainable consumer-to-consumer buy/sell solution that both minimizes waste and maximizes the useful life of a beauty product, while allowing consumers to shop different beauty brands and products at an accessible price point.
The AWS Impact Accelerator for Women Founders is part of the AWS Impact Accelerator, a $30 million three-year commitment to provide high-potential, pre-seed startups led by Black, women, Latino, and LGBTQIA+ founders with the tools and knowledge to reach key milestones, such as raising funds or being accepted to a seed-stage accelerator program, while creating powerful solutions in the cloud.
With the support of AWS, Glou Beauty will accelerate the platform’s development pipeline, and work closely with experts to put in place a future-proof, scalable foundation that will grow with Glou for many years to come. “We look forward to scaling our data and automation capabilities to create the platform our customers deserve,” said Karen Lee, founder and CEO of Glou Beauty.

As one of 25 companies chosen for this opportunity, Glou Beauty will receive up to $225,000 in cash and credits, extensive training, mentoring and technical guidance, as well as introductions to Amazon leaders and teams, networking opportunities with potential investors, and ongoing advisory support.
